What is FlexiNail?

FlexiNail utilizes a blend of natural oils, organic based botanical ingredients and specially developed scientific compounds to create a product we unconditionally guarantee for full 100 days.

FlexiNail is actually two products in one:

  • First, it's an intense and unique, lipid-rich conditioning complex that nourishes and hydrates your nails. Healthy looking nails are flexible and able to bounce back when stressed - not chip, break or peel. FlexiNail augments your fingernail's natural organic state.
  • Second, FlexiNail was designed to penetrate. While the skin will readily absorb a hydrating complex, the nail is made of keratin and very difficult to penetrate its protective barrier. Without this unique penetrating design, even the best ingredients used in isolation in FlexiNail would be unable to do what they were designed to do. Instead, the nail does absorb FlexiNail and the result is absolutely stunning, gorgeous nails!

Nail Fungus

toenail with fungus problem

Absolutely frustrated with the thick, ugly, black or yellow symptoms of Nail Fungus?

The real problem with nail fungus is that it is NOT on the top of the toenail - it is IN the nail. Simple topical creams and lotions can't get through the protective properties of the nail. Thick and discolored, unhealthy-looking nails aren't just embarrassing, they can hurt as well - especially if caused by an infection. Don't ignore treatment as nail fungus can spread to other nails or lead to other issues.

What is FlexiNail Fungus Relief for Toes? It is very different from other products you may have tried as it is designed to penetrate the protective coating of the toenail to get to the source of the fungus. We are confident if you suffer from nail fungus that FlexiNail Fungus Relief for Toes will help and it comes with the same 100 day Money-Back Guarantee as our regular FlexiNail.

Suggested FlexiNail Usage

Brush on FlexiNail at least once a day to the nail, cuticle, base and underside (extending past the finger) of each nail. Brush on a thin coat as you would apply a nail polish and let it sit for a few minutes if possible. Then, simply massage in any excess solution with your thumb and finger. There is no need to wipe off any excess solution.

FlexiNail is most effective when applied to clean nails that have been dry for at least one hour. If possible, apply FlexiNail before other creams or lotions you may use. When first starting to use FlexiNail or if your hands are frequently in water, apply two or more times daily if possible (or at night and let it completely be absorbed).

FlexiNail Fungus Relief for Toes Usage: Simply brush on FlexiNail Fungus Relief for Toes as you would a nail polish. Apply to each of you nails daily (two to three times a day if possible). It will not harden on the nail, so leave it on for a few minutes if you can and then simply wipe away or rub in any excess. You will experience better results if you apply to nails that have been out of water for an hour - so try not to apply after a bath or shower if possible.

Caution: To avoid irritation, keep fingers away from eyes immediately after applying FlexiNail (ie. putting in or taking out contact lenses etc).

Important FlexiNail usage considerations

FlexiNail works by penetrating into the nail and nourishing the cuticle. To ensure penetration, you need dry hands and you need to let FlexiNail soak in.

  • Water: Nails exposed to water are often trouble nails - ask anyone that washes their hands multiple times a day (nurses, hygienists, swimmers, etc). It is important to apply FlexiNail to nails that ideally have not been exposed to water for at least half an hour (showers, baths, swimming, even hand washing). The water works to repel the FlexiNail and much less gets absorbed into the nail.
  • Letting it soak in: Don't be neat applying FlexiNail. Brush on a thin coat quickly over your nails and on your cuticles. If you can, leave it there for a while before rubbing in any of the excess. Don't be afraid to leave it on for 5 or even 10 minutes if you have the time. Some people apply a thin coat right at bedtime and let it completely penetrate and soak in. Don't worry about it every time, but when you can, let it soak in.

How long does FlexiNail take to work?

The short answer is, it depends how bad your nails are to start.

Initial cuticle results will begin to be noticeable almost right away and within a few short days you will likely notice other changes as well. Full results, however, will NOT happen overnight (be very cautious about any product that claims it can). The best (sustainable) results occur when the nail matrix (the source of new nail growth under the cuticle) absorbs the conditioner complex. This new nail growth then has FlexiNail from the very start. It then takes several months for it to completely grow out to the end of your fingertip (finger nails tend to grow about 0.1 mm per day). Once you get through this initial period of getting that new growth to the end of your finger, your patience will be rewarded with nails that are dramatically improved.

Do I have to wait for it to grow out to see results or does it improve the nail that is already there when I start applications?

It will improve the nail that is already there, but it is far more effective and easier to have the nail under the cuticle form with FlexiNail from the start, than trying to dramatically change a nail that is already in bad shape.

Nail Polish Usage with FlexiNail

If your nails are pretty bad, we would suggest you try NOT to use nail polish at all for at least the first couple of weeks (or longer if possible). The FlexiNail won't get past the polish coat - so it can't be absorbed into the nail. Without polish, this gives your whole nail a chance to absorb FlexiNail. After you start to get your nails back on track (assuming they are really bad to start) then use polish as you want (sparingly with breaks if possible). If you are using FlexiNail just to improve your nails - then we still suggest at least several days, a week or even longer at the start without polish - then just try to minimize the harsh on-going use of polish remover etc. Remember, if you are using polish, make sure that you are getting FlexiNail under the cuticle into the matrix area and also up the sides of the nail and into the skin all around the nail.

If you keep the nail matrix (that's the part under the cuticle) conditioned then this new nail that grows will be in better shape from the start - a lot more efficient that trying to change the nail that's already there. Your results with FlexiNail won't be as dramatic or fast when used with polish - but get the conditioner to the matrix area and you will still see benefits when this new nail growth grows out to the end of your fingers.

Why is it called 'FLEXINAIL', don't I want HARD nails?

FlexiNail is designed to augment the nail's natural state. In our opinion, a hardener product just temporarily covers up a problem and can actually make the situation worse if the ingredients used in the hardener further dry out the nail's protective coating. Cosmetic fixes like hardeners can create a very temporary effect while FlexiNail actually penetrates to help make new nail growth that's more flexible, stronger, healthier looking.

Strong, healthy looking nails are able to bounce back when stressed - not chip, break, peel or layer. FlexiNail is designed to augment your nail's natural organic state not cover it up.

General Nail Information

Nails grow from the area under your cuticle called the matrix. New nail cells grow constantly and get hard and compacted and pushed out toward the end of your fingers. Nails grow approximately 0.1 millimeter a day, meaning it takes about four to six months to fully grow out. This means that as you help new nail cell growth under the cuticle - it will take months for that new nail growth to reach the end of your fingers. That is why you must be patient if you want to enjoy the true results that FlexiNail can show. Healthy nails are also generally smooth and without ridges or grooves and tend to be uniform in color and consistency and without spots or discolorations.

Common nail conditions:

Some nail conditions like vertical ridges are harmless. These ridges extend from under the cuticle to the end of your fingertip. They tend to become more pronounced as you age. White lines or spots are usually the result from injury to the nail plate or nail bed. In time the white spots will grow out.

Other nail conditions though can indicate that you should pay closer attention or even seek medical attention. Yellow discoloration in your nails could be the result of a respiratory condition, such as chronic bronchitis, or from swelling of your hands (lymphedema) or even from yeast or bacterial infection beneath the nail. If your nail separates or pulls away from the nail bed, it could indicate psoriasis or intolerance to a certain medication. Indentations that run across your nails (from side to side) are called Beau's lines and can appear when growth at the area under your cuticle is interrupted. This might occur because of an injury or severe illness.

If you have a nail problem that persists or is associated with other signs and symptoms, consider getting it checked out.

Classical Guitar Nails

Classical Guitarists: "it doesn't matter how great of a guitar you have, if your nails aren't right, you can't get the sound". You want to make great music, take a second to read this...

Read what Ken Turfitt wrote us in October...

Subject: Just a note of thanks

I e-mailed you a while back and told you I am a guitar player. To make a long story short, for the last 33 years my nails have been a constant source of misery. I have tried every thing on the market, and I do mean "EVERYTHING" but it has always been the same old story. Sooner or later, and usually sooner, my nails would split or crack on the sides. They might have grown rather quickly, but what good is that when they split almost right at the cuticle.

Anyway, I want you to know that after using your product I can actually push my nails down like you do in your video and they spring back up because they are now just that flexible. Which means, no more splitting or tearing while playing my guitar. I don't know if you can do it but if you could market your product in music stores and colleges that have a classical guitar program, not only would you be in the money but you would be doing a great service to all guitar players that pick with their fingers because they all have this same problem and it really is a torment because it doesn't matter how great of a guitar you have, if your nails aren't right , you can;t get the sound. Please feel free to use my testimony if you think it might help your business. I owe you at least that much.

Thanks, and may God bless.

Acrylic or Gel Nails

We usually get two questions here:

  • Will FlexiNail help what's left of my nails after removing the artificial nails? The answer here is absolutely yes. In fact, as soon as you get them off you should be applying FlexiNail and gently massaging it into your nails and cuticles. Then for several days apply two, three or even four times a day. Then cut back to two applications daily for at least a week or two. It will take time, but applying FlexiNail after nail remover will dramatically speed recovery.
  • Second, can I apply FlexiNail on top of my artificial nails so that when I take them off my real nails underneath will be better? The answer here is you can if you want to help your cuticles, but it won't help your real nails underneath. Wait until the nails come off, then aggressively apply FlexiNail.

Chemotherapy and Your Nails

Just like with hair, chemotherapy can be very tough on your nails as well. If you are going through this right now - you have a lot on your plate and we have something for you. It won't make a huge difference in your life right now, but if you are in a difficult financial position and undergoing chemotherapy, write us an email and we'll see if we can't at least make one part of your life a little nicer with some free FlexiNail.

We'll try to help out one person a day with this. Remember to stay positive.

Grow Fingernails Faster that are Long, Strong and Healthy

Do your nails grow fast? Are you using the right fingernail product to get the strength and faster nail growth you want? Are you doing the simple things in your daily routine that will lead to healthier, stronger faster growing fingernails?

Below are five things that are really tough on nails and toe nails and some simple suggestions to help you get the fast fingernail growth you want while getting rid of those dry, brittle nails once and for all.

  1. Excessive hand washing (or sanitizing) - Maybe you're in a profession that simply requires you to wash your hands a lot (health care, child care, food preparation etc). Washing your hands with soap and water or cleansing with alcohol based gels can really strip and dry out your fingernails. Use a penetrating nail conditioner like FlexiNail to "re-hydrate" your nails. If you just use a cuticle cream or a simple oil that isn't formulated to get past the nail's protective coating then it isn't getting into the nail and you are wasting your time and money. Once the oil based conditioner is in the nail it actually works to repel water and its effects.
  2. Environmental / weather dryness - If you live in a cold dry winter area or where there are hot dry summers your nails can be severely impacted. You may even notice seasonal changes to how well your nails do. For this a penetrating nail conditioner is highly recommended.
  3. Bad fingernail product choices - Do you occasionally use nail hardening products? These products make nails and toenails harder in the short-term, but they can also then make them brittle and more prone to breaking. Some of these "hardeners" use formaldehyde which acts to cross link the nail's keratin protein. So as tempting a short-term fix a hardener might be - don't do it! Maybe you've given up and just want fake nails. Just remember that these artificial nails or gel nails have to serviced every couple weeks and that is time consuming and expensive and it doesn't stop. When you try to take these fake nails off you will be horribly disappointed with what is left of your real nails. If you do want acrylics or gel nails, just be prepared to have them for a long time.
  4. Nail Fungus - Nail fungus is an infection. It usually starts with a little spot on a nail or toenail or on a couple of nails and then gets deeper into the nail and spreads to other nails as well. It usually results in thick, discolored and often painful nails that sometimes even crumble. If you are going to get artificial nails put on - make sure you are using a reputable shop to avoid picking up a fungal infection. You can also pick up a fungal infection from damp places like a change or locker room, so be cautious walking around with bare foot in these areas. Also, try to give your feet a break from shoes and socks when you can. Although it sounds stupid - change your socks everyday. Fungus thrives in dark, moist areas (ie. sweaty shoes and socks).
  5. Fingernail polish - Do you always have nail polish on? Do you frequently change polish colors? You need to give your nails a break from polish once in a while and give them some air. Also give them a break from the harsh and frequent nail polish removers. These products usually have solvents and alcohol that really dries out the nail. Also avoid polishes containing formaldehyde

What causes vertical nail ridges?

Vertical Fingernail Ridges Vertical fingernail ridges are ones that start under the cuticle and extend to the end of the nail. These are not to be confused with horizontal nail ridges (running across the nail).

The actual source or cause of these vertical ridges is unknown, but heredity is thought to play a role. These ridges tend to become more prominent as we age. Vertical ridges do not pose a health problem - although sometimes the nail becomes weaker at these ridges and will split.

FlexiNail penetrates the nail's protective coating and will dramatically help to reduce splits and cracks - especially at these fingernail ridges. Watch this short video for more information.

Don't confuse vertical ridges with horizontal ridges. If your have HORIZONTAL ridges or your nail changes color, you should see your doctor as this could indicate a health problem.

Useless piece of Nail Trivia

The right hand fingernails of a right handed person grow faster than the left hand. The opposite is true for a left handed person! Toe nails take much longer to grow than fingernails.
