Don't ignore treatment as nail fungus can spread to other nails or lead to other issues. What is FlexiNail Fungus Relief for Toes? It is very different from other products you may have tried as it is designed to penetrate the protective coating of the toenail to get to the source of the fungus. FlexiNail: Fungus Relief for Toes Ingredients: Ingredients: Glycine Soja, Simmondsia Chinensis, Carthamus Tinctorius, Limnanthes Alba, Squalene, Melia Azadirachta, Lecithin, Tocopheryl Acetate, Phenoxyethanol, Commiphora Myrrha, Rosmarinus Officinalis, Mauritia Flexuosa, Melaleuca Alternifolia, Tagetes Minuta, Tocopherol, Diazolidinyl Urea, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, Fragrance, Propylene Glycol, Bosweillia CarteriiBrush on FlexiNail at least once a day to the nail, cuticle, base and underside (extending past the finger) of each nail. Brush on a thin coat as you would apply a nail polish and let it sit for a few minutes if possible. Then, simply massage in any excess solution with your thumb and finger. There is no need to wipe off any excess solution.
FlexiNail is most effective when applied to clean nails that have been dry for at least one hour. If possible, apply FlexiNail before other creams or lotions you may use. When first starting to use FlexiNail or if your hands are frequently in water, apply two or more times daily if possible (or at night and let it completely be absorbed). FlexiNail Fungus Relief for Toes Usage: Simply brush on FlexiNail Fungus Relief for Toes as you would a nail polish. Apply to each of you nails daily (two to three times a day if possible). It will not harden on the nail, so leave it on for a few minutes if you can and then simply wipe away or rub in any excess. You will experience better results if you apply to nails that have been out of water for an hour - so try not to apply after a bath or shower if possible. Caution: To avoid irritation, keep fingers away from eyes immediately after applying FlexiNail (ie. putting in or taking out contact lenses etc). Important FlexiNail usage considerations FlexiNail works by penetrating into the nail and nourishing the cuticle. To ensure penetration, you need dry hands and you need to let FlexiNail soak in.The short answer is, it depends how bad your nails are to start.
Initial cuticle results will begin to be noticeable almost right away and within a few short days you will likely notice other changes as well. Full results, however, will NOT happen overnight (be very cautious about any product that claims it can). The best (sustainable) results occur when the nail matrix (the source of new nail growth under the cuticle) absorbs the conditioner complex. This new nail growth then has FlexiNail from the very start. It then takes several months for it to completely grow out to the end of your fingertip (finger nails tend to grow about 0.1 mm per day). Once you get through this initial period of getting that new growth to the end of your finger, your patience will be rewarded with nails that are dramatically improved.
Do I have to wait for it to grow out to see results or does it improve the nail that is already there when I start applications?
It will improve the nail that is already there, but it is far more effective and easier to have the nail under the cuticle form with FlexiNail from the start, than trying to dramatically change a nail that is already in bad shape.
If your nails are pretty bad, we would suggest you try NOT to use nail polish at all for at least the first couple of weeks (or longer if possible). The FlexiNail won't get past the polish coat - so it can't be absorbed into the nail. Without polish, this gives your whole nail a chance to absorb FlexiNail. After you start to get your nails back on track (assuming they are really bad to start) then use polish as you want (sparingly with breaks if possible). If you are using FlexiNail just to improve your nails - then we still suggest at least several days, a week or even longer at the start without polish - then just try to minimize the harsh on-going use of polish remover etc. Remember, if you are using polish, make sure that you are getting FlexiNail under the cuticle into the matrix area and also up the sides of the nail and into the skin all around the nail.
If you keep the nail matrix (that's the part under the cuticle) conditioned then this new nail that grows will be in better shape from the start - a lot more efficient that trying to change the nail that's already there. Your results with FlexiNail won't be as dramatic or fast when used with polish - but get the conditioner to the matrix area and you will still see benefits when this new nail growth grows out to the end of your fingers. To keep shipping costs down to allow us to offer free shipping and handling, we use Canada Post and the USPS. In our opinion, a hardener product just temporarily covers up a problem and can actually make the situation worse if the ingredients used in the hardener further dry out the nail's protective coating. Cosmetic fixes like hardeners can create a very temporary effect while FlexiNail actually penetrates to help make new nail growth that's more flexible, stronger, healthier looking.
Strong, healthy looking nails are able to bounce back when stressed - not chip, break, peel or layer. FlexiNail is designed to augment your nail's natural organic state not cover it up.Nails grow from the area under your cuticle called the matrix. New nail cells grow constantly and get hard and compacted and pushed out toward the end of your fingers. Nails grow approximately 0.1 millimeter a day, meaning it takes about four to six months to fully grow out. This means that as you help new nail cell growth under the cuticle - it will take months for that new nail growth to reach the end of your fingers. That is why you must be patient if you want to enjoy the true results that FlexiNail can show. Healthy nails are also generally smooth and without ridges or grooves and tend to be uniform in color and consistency and without spots or discolorations.
Common nail conditions: Some nail conditions like vertical ridges are harmless. These ridges extend from under the cuticle to the end of your fingertip. They tend to become more pronounced as you age. White lines or spots are usually the result from injury to the nail plate or nail bed. In time the white spots will grow out. Other nail conditions though can indicate that you should pay closer attention or even seek medical attention. Yellow discoloration in your nails could be the result of a respiratory condition, such as chronic bronchitis, or from swelling of your hands (lymphedema) or even from yeast or bacterial infection beneath the nail. If your nail separates or pulls away from the nail bed, it could indicate psoriasis or intolerance to a certain medication. Indentations that run across your nails (from side to side) are called Beau's lines and can appear when growth at the area under your cuticle is interrupted. This might occur because of an injury or severe illness. If you have a nail problem that persists or is associated with other signs and symptoms, consider getting it checked out. Do your nails grow fast? Are you using the right fingernail product to get the strength and faster nail growth you want? Are you doing the simple things in your daily routine that will lead to healthier, stronger faster growing fingernails?
Below are five things that are really tough on nails and toe nails and some simple suggestions to help you get the fast fingernail growth you want while getting rid of those dry, brittle nails once and for all.
Vertical fingernail ridges are ones that start under the cuticle and extend to the end of the nail. These are not to be confused with horizontal nail ridges (running across the nail).
The right hand fingernails of a right handed person grow faster than the left hand. The opposite is true for a left handed person! Toe nails take much longer to grow than fingernails.
